Health and Medical Achievement Award

Health and Medical Award will recognise young Just For Youth Foundation individuals who are dedicated to those in need of health & Medical services. There are many who passionately and selflessly provide support, guidance, encouragement, assistance, innovation or professional services within the health & Medical sector.

The Health and Medical Award acknowledges the services, efforts, actions and positive input provided by Health & Medical professionals, volunteers and carers. These individuals create a sense of community spirit, which plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of those who depend on them.

Online Achievement Award

The need for a new generation of digital-savvy online practitioners is clear, as is the value of having established innovative professionals continually upgrading their skills to meet the needs of the rapidly changing online environment. knows only too well the value of innovation and delivering the latest services and products to its customers.

The aim of the Online Achievement Award is to recognise a Just For Youth Foundation young achiever who demonstrates not only success in this space, but conveys the character traits important to the industry – creativity, innovation, agility and has a keen interest in information technology.

Young Volunteer Excellence Award

JFY Young Volunteer Excellence Award aims to acknowledge young volunteers who have made an outstanding voluntary contribution and have positively impacted the lives of others and their community. This Award covers all aspects of volunteering including (but not restricted to) youth at risk, the homeless and disadvantaged, emergency services, health, aged care and not for profits. Nominees are young volunteers who, through exceptional leadership and support to others, demonstrate innovative ways to achieve excellence beyond what is expected of them.

NOTE: All achievements must have occurred in the past two years – April 2020 to March 2022.

Community Service and Social Impact Award

The Community Service and Social Impact Award celebrates young people who make a significant contribution through community service or social justice initiatives. The award recognises individuals who are dedicated to the care of others, excel in their community sector profession or field of employment and those who seek innovative solutions to addressing social issues.

They offer hope, education, care and support to those in their care. Whether it be for service provision, those in need, cultural and community support, health and well being, emergency services, academia or education, they make a difference.

These young people are not only at the forefront of caring and accomplishment, but are contributing to the community by achieving their goals through hard work and perseverance and they are wonderful role models for us all.

The spirit of creativity and the energy and drive of artistic young people including those within the Fashion and Design Industries is enthusiastically applauded by The Coffee Club. With youth often leading the way in fashion, design, textiles, visual and dramatic art and dance, it is important to applaud their achievements in a what is a fast paced, stressful and success driven environment. Through the Arts and Fashion Award, recognition is given to those who strive for excellence, creativity and success. The Arts and Fashion Award highlights the importance of the Arts Industry and rewards the next generation of artists.

The Just For Youth Foundation Government Group Achievement in the Community Award recognises young people who have worked together as a group to provide a service, program or project for other young people, which is based on consultation and engagement with young people and has resulted in positive, youth-led changes in a local community.

Business & Trade Achievement Award

Many young Just For Youth Foundation have successfully started or are operating their own businesses & trade are making important economic and social contributions to our State. Creative business and commercial ventures provide opportunities for growth, productivity, leadership, training and employment. Many are also giving back to the community or giving others an opportunity.

Young business & Trade owners and operators are showing us all how to roll the sleeves up and be successful in areas such as service provision, product development, manufacturing and construction, agriculture, primary industry, e-commerce, wholesaling, exporting and retail. The Just For Youth Foundation Government’s Business & Trade Achievement Award promotes those who “give it a go” through determination, innovation, hard work and self-motivation, rewarding those who make their own luck and opportunities a reality.

Just For Youth Foundation Impact Award

Most aspects of our lives are ultimately touched by the outcomes of research in some way or another. Research outcomes have a real impact at a personal, community and economic level. Researchers’ achievements have the power to change lives and our world and their many outstanding discoveries hold the very key to our future. The Just For Youth Foundation University Research Impact Award recognises and honours the next generation of researchers whose intelligent and visionary achievements and discoveries have and will shape our future world.

The award is open to an individual or a team. For team applications all members of the team must satisfy the age requirements for the award.
